The globalisation and its link between the national cultures have historically increased, with...

The globalisation and its link between the national cultures have historically increased, with respect to the changes in the legislative morality of the host countries in the international business context. The contemporary state institutions have been found increasingly utilising the national culture in several forms. It has been identified that one of the more tangible feature of globalisation is the integration of normative culture into the state institutional activities. On the other hand, Thomas (2014) stated that globalisation is the reason to revive the local culture and its values in the different part of the globe. In the words of Wiewiora et al. (2013), the globalisation erodes the state authority that decreases the state’s right to control and execute ideological culture in its business context. The current essay attempts to identify why the globalisation is controversial and important to understand the national cultures while operating in the international business environment.
