The 1500 lb wrecking ball, suspended from a 50 ft chain, swings from rest at point A, theta is 30 degrees, toward a wall. after striking the wall it rises to point B, alpha is equal to 20 degrees. determine the amount of energy which is lost during the collision and compute the tension in the chain just before the collision, theta is 0 degree. neglect the size of the ball for the calculation. point c does not move, and when theta is equal to zero degree the ball is at its lowest point
