However, most of the population prefers not to use the mobile banking facility due to the facts of insecurity and privacy concers. . Specific Purposes for using Mobile Banking Facilities by the Customers. It is noted that the customers are using this facility for Requesting Cheque Book, Payment Reminders, Viewing Transactions, Checking Account Balances and Bill Payment. But the most specific purpose of using mobile banking is paying the bills such as telephone, electricity, gas and so on. . Growth of Mobile Banking Services from 2011-2015. There is a tremendous growth in the adoption rate of mobile banking services i.e. 3.9% to 33.6% within the period of five years. Although, the customers are having low trust on this system provided by the banks. . Digital Payment Safety in India is mainly segregated under three main heads Mobile Banking, Debit Cards and Credit Cards. The use of the Debit and Credit Cards is not too prevalent. In case of debit cards, the amount of transactional amount is deducted as soon as the transaction takes place, while in case of credit card, the payment for transaction is made on a later date.
