It is the biggest piece of work you do on the whole MBA programme – somewhere around 15,000 words 2. It carries the most credit points – 60 credit points 3. Employers ask about your project when you look for a job – fact! 4. It’s your project – an independent piece of work that shows what you can do 5. Make full use of your learning on other modules – concepts, ideas, theories, frameworks, evidence, examples, experiences, practices 6. You really do have to attend the workshops and your mentor sessions. There are 13 workshops and 3 mentor sessions. If you miss them without good reason you cannot proceed. We are serious! 7. Start early on your project, it can’t be done quickly 8. The Project Proposal: you must produce an acceptable proposal to be allowed to proceed 9. Break your project up into bite-sized chunks – or the task looks massive! 10. Workshops and Appointments with tutors and supervisors: make an appointment first, and turn up on time 11. Energy and motivation about your project are key: the more you put into it, the more you get out of it and enjoy it 12.
