From the financials we get the following data for the calculation: (Amount in Rs. Crores)

1. Working Capital = Current Assets - Current Liabilities

= 1215.97 - 1200.25

= 15.72

2. Total Assets (As per Balance Sheet) = 5026.35

3. Earnings Before Interest & Tax = Profit before exceptional items & Tax + Financial Costs

= 941.21+36.54

= 977.75

4. Retained Earnings = Closing balance of General Reserve + Closing Balance of Surplus

= 101.30+2248.81

= 2350.11

5. Total Liabilities = Current Liabilities + Non - Current Liabilities

= 1200.25+2.85

= 1203.10

6.Sales = Net Revenuve from operations

= 4811.57

7. Market Value of Equity = No.of shares issued * Current Market Price of the share (MPS as on 31-3-2016 )

= 34.05 * 354.45

= 12069.02
