Sustainability is the concept which involved that organizations focused towards the environmental, economic and social well-being of today and tomorrow. Large number of organizations thinks that they should include sustainable development in its structure. According to which, companies makes the development that basically meets the needs of present generation without compromising the ability to meet the future generation needs and wants. In this paper, importance of concept of sustainability in today’s environment is analyzed. Along with this, researcher has also analyzed three examples of entrepreneurs using sustainability.

Importance of Sustainability

In today’s competitive market environment, companies are facing various economic, social and environmental challenges. In such type of environment, businesses needed to be trustworthy and upstanding in order to meet the present as well as future needs. Sustainable business provides the characteristics through which companies can be able to gain success for long run (Create Impact, 2011). Further, its techniques are useful in making the business firms profitable and also helpful in resolving the social problems of people. Thus, it is important to include the sustainability, so that companies formulate their strategies and policies accordingly.
