How can I make long division easier?

I know the remainder theorem that is: Dividend= divisor x quotient + remainder. to the question 2p cube + 7p square-44p+ 35 is (p-1) but when I put it into tje formula it becomes:2p cube + 7p square-44p+ 35 =(p-1) x Qp+ f(a) And to find the quotient i have to divide p minus one by2p cube + 7p square-44p+ 35 and thats the problem i find it really hard to divide bc of the one in p minus one. Please explain me how can i do this I need help pls I got my exam coming up!
