As Slattery indicates there is no singular historical account and seemingly contradictory movements may be occurring

As Slattery indicates, there is no singular historical account, and seemingly contradictory movements may be occurring at the same time. Through background research, we are attempting to create a “quilt” of curriculum ideas. Research the list of ideas in your assigned period (Wikipedia can be a great initial source for ideas, but do not rely on it solely or quote from it) to develop biographical profiles of persons, detailed accounts of ideas, and major themes/historical significance of texts.
Part II: Add two music educators, ideas, texts, or tests (e.g. “Early Curricular Influences” could include Julia Ettie Crane, and “Social Efficiency” could include the Seashore Test).
Part III: Using the information you have gathered, develop a “portrait” of curriculum during the time period and present in class on the assigned date using presentation software (Powerpoint, Keynote, Prezi).
