An aluminum composite cylinder (E = 72 GPa v = 0.33) is made by shrinking an outer cylinder onto an inner cylinder. Initially, the outer radius of the inner cylinder is larger than the inner radius of the outer cylinder by an amount of 0.125mm. The cylinder is subjected to an internal pressure 200MPa. The outer radius and the inner radius of the composite cylinder are 200mm and 100mm. After assembly the radius at the interface is 150mm. Determine the stress at the outer radius of the inner cylinder and at the inner radius of the outer cylinder.
