This module aims to introduce students to the key concepts involved in management and social science research. The module will enable students to develop their understanding of key research techniques and methodologies and will give them the opportunity to consider examples of relevant research methods. Students will be engaged in practical exercises to develop their knowledge and choice of research skills and methods. Additionally, this module will assist in developing students’ essential skills in framing their research proposals and writing-up their research in a variety of suitable formats including management reports suitable for use by employers.
