The Group Power Point Assignment is intended to provide an opportunity to wrap up and review some of the individual and collective learning centered around our strategies for success focus. Presentation Focus: Online learning and strategies for success. Group presentations will be posted to a discussion board and will provide an opportunity for each student to review and discuss information provided by other groups. Group Presentation Assignment Guidelines: 10 slide presentation that includes: 1. Title page with all team member names and your title for the presentation (the group needs to give their presentation a title-something that helps your audience know what they are getting ready to see). Please include the full name of all team members on the title of your presentation. 2. Eight content slides: on these slides you want to look at the positive and negative points and include supporting data. You may utilize references that you located during your writing assignment earlier in the course. You can also add new material. Decide what positive points you want to put into this presentation and what challenges you will discuss in your slides. If you have a better article or video that portrays your point well, you may add this to the presentation. The presentation does not have a limit on the number of references or sources used for its completion (However, a minimum of 2 references that have been published within the last 5 years must be used). You can also add a visual element such as a picture or embedded video clipas long as these are professional and appropriate and they help make your point well. Creativity is encouraged but lots of flash is not the point. 3. Reference slide: Follow the correct APA format for reference pages. Note: Each student is to submit their own peer contribution tool via CANVAS. The peer tool has the same due date as the group presentation.Peer Contribution Tool
4. Submitting your work: One student from each group is to post the groups presentation by Sunday, Jan 28 ,11:59 pm to CANVAS (submit as you would any other assignment) and to the Discussion Area: Group Presentations: Strategies for Success in Online Learning : Initial Post Due Wed Next Week: Post to our Class Discussion: Group Presentations: Strategies for Success in Online Learning : Initial Post Due Wed Jan 31 of module next week.
