(a) (4 points) Derive the governing equation and boundary conditions for the wire tempera- ture. (b) (3 points) Solve the governing equation for the temperature distribution in the wire. (C) (3 points) Calculate the centerline temperature of the wire using the numeric values given above. You may treat the wire as infinitely long, and assume that the wire has remained under these conditions for a very long time.
