1-Please pick a topic for your term project, write a brief abstract (not more than 500 words) explaining your term project and send it to me by February 24th (or February 27th without penalty). Possible topics can be software-oriented or hardware oriented (Qbit (device) implementation, description of existing quantum computers, ...)
2- Those who are interested in the NV- centers in diamond that was explained in the class, should submit an abstract that contains the following information:
a- Experiments to detect and quantify NV- centers in a diamond sample (I will provide.)
b- Use NV- centers' optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR) spectra to sense temperature, electric field (DC-GHz), magnetic field (DC-10 KHz) and Qbits. (Pick one or two.) I am posting couple of references for your information.
3- Submit the first draft of your term project report by March 3rd.
4- Submit the final report of your term project project by March 27
